In Salisbury Deacons on Fisherton Street, the Anchor and Hope in Winchester Street, the Horse and Groom on Wilton Road and the Cloisters on Catherine Street have all reopened following closure and refurbishment.

In Whiteparish a greatly refurbished King’s Head has reopened following a very long period of closure.

In Codford The George has reopened after 5 ½ years of closure.  Perhaps it should be renamed as Lazarus.

We wish them all prosperous and lasting future.

The Greater Good at Fovant (formerly the Pembroke Arms) has been undergoing refurbishment but we still wait to hear of a reopening date. Ultimately the success of all pubs rests on the support they receive.  Make the most of them

See you at the bar.
