Branch members are invited to nominate eligible pubs and clubs for the next round of GBG voting which will be in December 2018. Nominations must be in writing and be supported by an NBSS score by the nominee. Salisbury and South Wilts branch has an allocation of up to 15 pubs/clubs which are voted for with each member invited to vote for their preferred 15 from a list of nominated pubs. Any branch member can nominate a pub/club to be included on the list by sending that nomination to the branch secretary or the NBSS/GBG officer. Where the licensee or beer manager was in place before 1st August only one nomination is needed, where they came in post after 1st August 5 members need to make nominations. Each nomination must be supported by that member making an entry on the National Beer Scoring System and all nominations must be submitted by 31st October. A list of nominated pubs is then circulated to each branch member inviting them to vote. Voting closes at the end of January. The top 15 pubs are then surveyed to recheck their eligibility and their details are submitted to be published in the next year’s edition of the Good Beer Guide. To be eiligable a pub/club must serve Real Ale and if a club must be open to the general public or to camra members. Send nominations to

See you at the bar.
